TOPSoccer
US Youth Soccer TOPSoccer (The Outreach Program for Soccer) is a recreational program designed for children and young adults with intellectual, emotional, or physical disabilities. This program is offered through US Youth Soccer–affiliated clubs, including Seashore Soccer League.
TOPSoccer provides players with the opportunity to participate in soccer in a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment. The program is carefully structured to meet the unique needs of each athlete, focusing on enjoyment, personal growth, and meaningful participation rather than competition.
Designed for players ages 5 to 21, TOPSoccer emphasizes individual development and creates opportunities for athletes to get off the sidelines and be actively involved in the game. Through adaptive coaching and a positive atmosphere, every player is encouraged to learn, grow, and succeed.
Why TOPSoccer Matters
TOPSoccer reflects the mission of US Youth Soccer: to foster the physical, mental, and emotional growth of all youth through the sport of soccer. It provides an opportunity for players with disabilities to experience the many benefits of the game in a way that is accessible and rewarding.
Through participation in TOPSoccer, athletes:
- Develop a sense of belonging and inclusion
- Build confidence and self-esteem
- Improve fitness and coordination
- Strengthen social and communication skills
- Most importantly, have fun
