Rotary Park - Morehead City

Designated Areas

Rotary Park is a well-maintained facility that we use heavily for matches during the normal season. To keep it in great shape, we expect that all teams (Home & Visitors) will adhere to the guidelines listed below:

Field Locations:

Field #1- Regulation field (11v11)

Fields # 2 a,b,c - U10 fields ( 7v7)

Field #3- U12 fields (9v9)

Blue highlighted areas are designated for "Team Benches."

  • Home is to the far right (Field #1 & Field #3)
  • Away is to the far left (Field #1 & Field #3)

Red highlighted areas are designated for "Warmup Areas."

  • Use the red highlighted areas for all stretching, kinetic warmups, and simple drills that do not require goals or large spaces.
  • Once you have completed your warmups, you may proceed to the field opposite your opponent for drills that require additional space and shooting.
  • Goalkeepers should always do their initial warmups on the backside of the goal opposite their opponent. There is absolutely no need for keepers to do their initial warmups in the 6 yd box/goal mouths. Again, once teams have completed warmups, Goalkeepers may proceed to the goal opposite their opponent for additional pre-match routines.

Blue designated areas are reserved for players, coaches, and referees pre|during|post match.

  • These areas are the match fields.

Yellow designated areas are for parents & spectators:

  • Parents are not permitted on the fields at any point. If a parent needs to provide their player with water, required medical supplies, or other equipment, we encourage parents to go around the edge of the field closest to the player's bench. Parents should then provide the necessary items and immediately proceed back to the spectator's side for viewing.
  • Parents will not be permitted to view the matches behind either goal or near the corner flags unless they are in their vehicles. All spectators should be staged in the spectator-designated areas directly opposite their team's bench.
  • The only person(s) permitted to walk around the entire match area, including but not limited to the team bench area, will be the Field Marshal, SSL Staff, Referees, Coaches, and Players.
