2008-09 NCYSA Risk Management Applications

The state requires that all volunteers register online to have
background check performed prior to the Fall 2008
season. For completion by adult participants whether coach, assistant
coach, substitute coach, director of coaching, program administrator,
referee, referee assistants, and administrators, and Association
officer employed, serving as a volunteer of, or endorsed by an Association
or a team of an Association (each such person being ‘associated’
and having an ‘association’ with such Association)

Michael
McKinney
May 8, 1992 to October 6, 2007
Michael McKinney earned his angel wings on October
6th, after battling Leukemia for a
little over a year. He played soccer for Seashore Soccer League
for 7 years (recreation/challenge/classic). When he was unable to
play because of his illness, he coached his younger brother's U06
team out of Western Park for 3 seasons. He will be missed by all.

Statement
The Seashore Soccer
League (SSL) is a Carteret County Soccer Organization dedicated
to providing and maintaining a quality and safe soccer program
for all the youth in Carteret County. Our goal is to establish
teams for all age and skill levels and to ensure that children
receive appropriate and knowledgeable coaching. |
