Classic

Classic level soccer provides advanced players and teams with the opportunity to play teams from across the state of North Carolina. Players are selected through an advertised tryout. Coaches from other areas are asked to help judge these tryouts. Players are graded on skill, speed, game comprehension and attitude. Classic players retain roster rights season to season. Players are expected to commit to a Fall and Spring season. Fees in Classic vary from team to team. The fee is based on how many games a team plays and what equipment is needed. Players provide their own uniforms. There can be quite a bit of travel involved. All home games will be played at fields identified by NCYSA based on condition each season (for more info click here).

All players interested in trying out must bring: water, shin guards, cleats and ball. Parents must attend to fill out tryout forms and bring a copy of birth certificate.
